OddFellows make donation to school

In a recent meeting, Andy Bonds spokesman for members of Piedmont OddFellow Lodge #524 presented the Piedmont High School Athletic Boosters, the Blue Knights Band, and the Cheerleader Squad with donations to support their programs. Present to accept the donations were Superintendent Matt Akins and Football Coach Steve Smith.

Superintendent Akins and Coach Smith thanked the lodge and commented that it was great to live in a community that supported the schools and students of Piedmont.

Refreshments were served after the meeting.

Other members present were: Leroy Warmack, Wayne Naugher, Rev. Michael Anderson, Clinton Canter, Rev. Tony McCain, and Pep Waites.

The OddFellows support many foundations, special events, and groups throughout the community.
