The Drama Team was in charge of the 2009 Christmas program and they did a fantastic job. Kristy Smith, team leader, organized the event making sure to include the children of the church. Angela Lucas played Mary and did a solo drama to Cathy Posey's rendition of "Breath of Heaven" as well as minor parts in other songs. Andrew Posey, who played Joseph, gave a moving performance to "A Strange Way to Save the World" and Tyler Lucas was great as the angel Gabriel throughout the program.

The other members of the drama team including: Laura Posey, Candace Gilmore, Tiffany Murner, Melinda Nicholson and Kristy Smith performed with ribbons to "Joy to the World" while the children presented gifts to baby Jesus.

The entire team did the drama to "O Holy Night" and the program concluded with the children: Kalum, Logan, and Brianna Smith; Ansley Stephens; Alexis, Stevey, and Chase Jenkins; Jonathan and Mason Wayman; and Madison Brown signing to several songs including "Away in a Manger" and "The First Noel". Pastor Tim Smith closed the service in prayer after H.S. Law, Chairman of the Deacon Committee, presented Kristy with a poinsettia from the church to thank her for all her hard work. Thanks to all for a great performance to praise the Lord.
